Meadows & io is not just a band, but an interdisciplinary project that combines music, visual art, film and technology.
An artist collective that operates on the border between concert and installation, concept and performance, rock and contemporary art.
The band is led by artists with backgrounds from various disciplines – both in sound, visual art and film.
They create holistic works where sound, image and space work together to give the audience an immersive experience.
A place where ideas about alchemy, hidden rituals, melancholy and desperation can be glimpsed like a silver thread woven into an abstract narrative. Experiences that expand the sensory apparatus, moving freely between concert stages, galleries and art festivals. With their uncompromising style and multifaceted approach, Meadows & io seek to build a universe that is truly worth visiting.

Live, music is synchronised with C.A.Breda-Gulbrandsen's hyper-expressive film art and creates a concentrated, intense experience where epic sounds and visual ecstasy bombard the audience .
